Privacy notice

Last updated 16 October 2026

The short version: you don't need an account, there are no adverts, and there are no tracking or analytics cookies. The only personal information involved is your internet address, which the web server records briefly to keep the site running safely.

Who runs this site

Cosmic Field Notes at estrelas.co.uk is a free, non commercial learning site run by Cris Morgado, who is responsible for your information under UK data protection law (UK GDPR). You can get in touch at support@fortunastreams.com.

What is collected, and why

Things saved on your own device

The site remembers two small settings in your own browser, using browser storage rather than cookies: whether you chose "Simple" or "Show me the maths", and your last few formulas in the Formula Decoder. These never leave your device and are never sent to the server. You can clear them at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser settings.

Cookies

This site does not use cookies at all: no tracking cookies, no analytics cookies and no advertising cookies. That's why there is no cookie banner. The two small settings described above are kept in your browser's own storage, are only read by your browser, and are only there because they are needed for the features you use.

The Formula Decoder

Fonts and videos

The fonts and the films are served from this site itself, so loading a page does not send your details to Google or any other company.

Links to other websites

The site links to research papers, news articles, YouTube videos, Instagram accounts and Claude (for the live Formula Decoder). If you follow a link, you leave this site and that website's own privacy policy applies.

Your rights

You can ask what information is held about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, or object to it being used. In practice the only information is short lived server logs, which usually can't be linked to a named person. If you're unhappy with how your information is handled, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes

If this notice changes, the new version will appear on this page with a new date.
